residents with no driveways. Issues of age and health other factors contributing to the need.
Hopes permit parking will be in place at the beginning of the summer.
Resident suggests that Mayor and Council have e-mail addresses and have the addresses posted on
the borough's website so residents can communicate with them.
Resident compliments the operation of the recycling center but concerned about some changes
that may be made there.
Parking committee made recommendations to Mayor and Council for parking for residents with
no on-site parking. A draft ordinance was presented, discussion occurred, but no action has yet
to take place. Parking would be policed by homeowners and violators would be reported to the
police department.

Heritage Day
LVT will send a letter to Heritage Committee for confirmation of a location of our booth for the event.
LVT supports the idea of Mayor and Council having e-mail addresses. A letter will be sent to them
with this request.
Approval of an expenditure of $380.24 for general liability insurance for LVT was passed.
Discussion of huge amount of lost revenue is a concern due to the beaches not being officially open again
on Memorial Day. It was a banner weather weekend and Lavallette did not capture the revenue that
adjoining towns did because badges were not yet required.
Meeting adjourned at 8:48 p.m.
