Minutes and Treasurer's report was accepted as read.
Correspondence: Internet correspondence was read with members inquiring as to who won the special mayoral election, a request for an application for an LVT scholarship, an inquiry into the costs of summer beach badges, an inquiry about the proposed ordinance change to lot size on West Point Island and a suggestion about proposed LVT by-law change.
Membership totals for 2006-2007 was reported to be 783 paid members.
Beach report: Alice is still waiting to be contacted by Councilman Bob Lamb with a date for a second committee meeting concerning the handling of checking beach badges this summer as well as other issues. A huge amount of revenue is being lost by the beach not being operational on Memorial Day weekend and people getting onto the beach without a badge in season.
School report: The school board election is Tuesday, April 17th. No one is challenging the incumbent board member. The school budget for local tax dollars is around $2.9 million. There are currently 118 resident children in K-8, 26 tuition students, 59 high-school students and 3 out-of-district for a total K-12 school population of 206. There will be a .5 cent increase in school taxes. Homes valued at $686,000 will pay approximately $40 more per year. Also noted was that a community services line item went from $3,500 to $13,200 due to the creation of an adult night school program and summer camp. Even though high-school tuition has increased 9.86%, this line item decreased from $877,696 to $835,969 due to fewer Lavallette high-school students attending Point Beach High School and one less out-of-district special education student.
Municipal: Discussion of issues reported were the refurbishing the mayor's office, change to rules of Council, questions surrounding the legality of the local PBA soliciting funds from the public and using them for political purposes such as endorsing candidates for political office.

A nominating committee was appointed by LVT President Joe Marcianti: Ben Brockwell, Lach Cameron and Ann Gorga.
