Minutes of the last LVT meeting were read. Additions to the minutes were
2. Letters of both resignations will be attached to the minutes.
3. The letter from LVT to Lil and Joe P. requesting the inclusion of the Budget Review Report and Walter Boright’s letter to the same will be attached to the minutes.
Membership: 219 members have already paid for 2007. Pat H. felt this was a good response so far.
Planning Board: The issue of Kay’s Bakery vs. the Planning Board was remanded back to the Planning Board.
There were minor revisions to the Master Plan—if two houses are on one property, the owner could perform maintenance and upkeep—siding, windows, roofing would be allowed, but not a second floor; cannot make the second home year-round residence (heated) if not already so.
Membership voted to send a letter to the Planning Board requesting that the public be kept informed of issues to be on the Planning Board agenda. Many were not aware of the hearing on the Master Plan.
All Committee reports were accepted.
Correspondence: A letter was read from Walter Boright complimenting LVT’s new website.
Discussion of the website related to corrections of the newsletter on the website that related to an asterisk and an incorrect entry, links, and commercial ads.
A resolution was passed unanimously to return LVT’s legal line item back to $2,000 from $3,000.
LVT’s budget committee will meet after the 1st of the year.
Muzio suit was awarded. LVT to request settlement agreement from M/C.
Borough’s affirmative action policy will be requested by LVT related to who administers it, enforces it, training, etc.
Beach revenue from surrounding towns will be investigated by Alice Bass. Continued concerns with use of our Beaches without purchasing a badge. Joe Ardito reported that other people have also volunteered as Ralph Gorga did last summer to check beach badges.
The Mayoral Election was certified by the County Board of Elections. A petition was filed to check absentees and provisional ballots. Joe Ardito asked for volunteers who want to participate on a Borough committee to fill out a form,
